I have direct experience with working with members of the TelX team both in person and via phone/email, just as I have direct experience working with the Equinix Customer service system and personnel at 350 East Cermak. Because of my simple familiarity with the Equinix site during employment with a previous company, I had hoped that Cisco would decide on Equinix for our Chicago cage space. Instead we went with TelX and I have been surprised at how SOLID, proactive, and highly communicative the TelX support team has been since before Day 1. If all of our world-wide colocation sites were as effective as Telx Chicago, my job would be far easier! Thanks for your team’s great support! Gabe Auxier Cisco Systems Inc. Mountain View, CA

All of the work we have seen from your team has been nothing short of prompt and professional, but we wanted to make sure that all of you who participated in this cage resize got the recognition you deserve as it really went above and beyond what we expected. Stephen Gelman AEP Energy Chicago, IL

About Us

Since 2006, the CHI1 data center facility provides access to over 40 of the leading domestic and international carriers and physical connection points of the world's telecommunications networks and Internet backbones. Located in the South Loop of the Chicago Central Business District, 350 E. Cermak is the premier mission critical interconnection, colocation and telecommunications facility in the Midwest. The facility offers access to the CME/LNET Exchanges, direct access to SFTI Network and other carriers via fiber to the other suites within the building. The industrial-strength infrastructure includes four fiber vaults and three electric power feeds, which provide the building with more than 100 megawatts of power. 350 East Cermak is currently the second-largest power customer for Commonwealth Edison, trailing only Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Grid power is supported by more than 50 generators throughout the building, which are fueled by multiple 30,000 gallon tanks of diesel fuel.
